Program Manager

Carrie Gould-Kabler, MSW, is Program Manager at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Carrie has been a social worker since 1999 and has had the honor of working with a myriad of child-, youth-, and family-serving systems. Carrie currently works with the State of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood (OEC) UConn Partnership as Project Manager on various initiatives to reduce the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and improve outcomes for the most at-risk families in Connecticut. Prior to joining the OEC/UConn Partnership, Carrie was Project Director for a Children’s Bureau-funded Youth-at-Risk of Homelessness (YARH) Implementation and Evidence Building grant (Thrive@25), now known as Enhanced Youth Transition Planning (E-YTP) and Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) funded Youth REACH MD, Maryland’s statewide survey and census of unaccompanied young people experiencing housing instability. Through her work with E-YTP and Youth REACH MD, Carrie worked collaboratively with local communities to build partnerships that assisted in leveraging existing resources to meet community self-identified needs, as well as elevate and amplify youth voices as the experts in designing solutions to end homelessness among youth. Carrie holds an MSW from Salisbury University and a BSW from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work.
