Program Manager


Elizabeth Chambers, MEd, is a Program Manager at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Elizabeth has 15 years of experience working within various systems and settings that serve young children and their families, including child care, Head Start and Migrant Head Start, as well as providing training and technical assistance to community child care providers to promote social-emotional wellness and address disparities in exclusionary practices in early education. Her work at Innovations with the Parent, Infant, and Early Childhood team includes a focus on workforce development and family engagement to increase knowledge of child development and to implement practices that support all children in receiving quality care and education in their earliest years. Elizabeth holds a Master of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Advocacy from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington as well as a BS in Early Education from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
