Vanessa Ofodile

Coach and Trainer for Mobile Response and Stabilization Services


Vanessa Ofodile, MS, is a Coach and Trainer for Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. In this role she is responsible for implementation, training, and coaching around the MRSS model. She also provides technical assistance including readiness assessment, workforce support, and systems design for states and localities installing or reforming MRSS. Prior to joining Innovations Institute, Vanessa provided mobile crisis response services across the lifespan. Vanessa also has professional experience in supporting children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population on acute behavioral health inpatient units, and counseling for sexual assault and domestic violence crisis hotlines. Additionally, Vanessa is a certified QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor. Vanessa holds a Master of Science in Negotiations and Conflict Management from the University of Baltimore.
