Designing with Youth: Strategies for Building Crisis Response Systems

Webinars Held April – July 2023 Are Available on YouTube
Free

As we collaborate with federal, state, and local governments to plan and implement crisis response systems in communities across the U.S., we are engaging in discussion about the critical input that youth provide. To further explore the role that youth can play in the development of crisis systems ,and to build skill in creating authentic partnerships, we have partnered with Youth MOVE National on the Designing with Youth webinar series.

The impetus of 988 and the funding that has become available to design and create a continuum of crisis services means that planning and implementation of crisis response systems is underway nationwide. This webinar series provides in-depth detail on how meaningful collaboration with young people with first-hand lived experience can be leveraged to best design, staff, and implement mobile response and stabilization services. The series launched March 30, 2023 with a discussion of best practices for integrating youth perspectives in the design of crisis systems. The series is designed for 988 and crisis system design leaders, including young people with first-hand lived experience navigating mental health crises. Register and join in this important series! Recordings for past sessions are available.
