Conan A. Green

Lead Training Specialist


Conan Green, MSW, is Lead Training Specialist at University of Connecticut School of Social Work. In addition to his work with FOCUS Care Coordination, he co-hosts the Innovations Institute-produced podcast Unwrapping Wraparound: Innovations in Care Coordination. Through engaging conversations with experts and practitioners, Conan explores the history of Wraparound and highlights strategies for building effective partnerships within child and family systems. Conan is a seasoned clinical social worker, counselor, and national trainer with over two decades of experience in mental health, care coordination, and systems reform. His career spans diverse roles that emphasize holistic care and systemic transformation. In previous roles, Conan developed curricula, provided technical assistance, and advanced national implementation efforts for Wraparound processes. His extensive background includes leadership roles in care coordination, Wraparound, peer recovery coaching, state mental health initiatives, and crisis response, underscoring his expertise in training, group facilitation, and integrated care planning. Conan’s professional philosophy centers on empowering individuals and communities to foster emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. With his unique blend of practical knowledge, strategic vision, and heartfelt dedication, he strives to make a meaningful impact on the fields of mental health and social services. Conan has an MSW from Walla Walla University and a BA in Sociology from the University of Montana.
