Darquita Fletcher

Project Director for the Quality Improvement Center for Family-Centered Reunification


Darquita Fletcher, LMSW-C, is Project Director for the Quality Improvement Center for Family-Centered Reunification (QIC-R) at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of senior management and clinical experience and has dedicated her career to helping children and families. She also provides mental health services for residents in the Prince George’s County community through her private practice. Darquita has served on several local community boards in New York City, where she is originally from, and was on the Board of Directors for the first LGBTQ Community Center in the Bronx. Darquita has developed and managed many programs for foster care youth, LGBTQ youth, homeless youth, and families and youth involved in the juvenile justice system. She has a niche for improving services and strongly believes in providing the best quality of care, equal opportunity, and service delivery to children, youth, and their families. Darquita holds an MSW from Fordham University, where she majored in Social Work Administration. She also has two executive leadership certificates from New York University and Columbia School of Business.
