Kim Coviello

Assistant Director for the National Wraparound Implementation Center


Kimberly Coviello, MA, is Assistant Director for the National Wraparound Implementation Center at Innovations Institute, University of Connecticut School of Social Work. Ms. Coviello has over 20 years of experience working in child- and family-serving systems and implementing Wraparound at individual, county, state, and national levels. Most recently, she has been involved in developing and providing training, coaching, and TA to the Wraparound workforce. In Ms. Coviello’s current role, she oversees state, organization, and provider efforts around system of care development/reform, child-serving system workforce development, Wraparound implementation, tiered care coordination, and peer parent support. She has trained and presented across the country and provided individualized, intensive statewide support to more than 15 states. This work includes identification of gaps in systems and practice leading to development of comprehensive implementation workplans. Ms. Coviello oversees design, development, and implementation of in-person and virtual Wraparound and peer parent support training and TA curricula using a variety of complex activities including adult learning techniques and driven by implementation science. She also manages and supports trainers and coaches across two practice models. Ms. Coviello has extensive experience utilizing data collection instruments and procedures to evaluate the effectiveness of training, coaching, and TA. Kim holds an International MA in Peace and Development Studies from the UNESCO Chair for the Philosophy of Peace, Universität de Jaume I in Castellon, Spain and a BA in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Vermont.
